You have the chance to become a WSOP Circuit champion this weekend, get your hands (or should that be finger) on a coveted WSOPC ring, and pad your bankroll with a chunky prize in one fair swoop.
That’s because the $100 million guaranteed WSOP Winter Online Circuit is awarding two rings on December 13.
The first is accessible to all, the WSOPC #1: BIG $50. It only costs $50 to buy into, as its name suggests, but there’s a massive $1 million guarantee slapped on the prize pool!
Several Day 1s run during December 11-13 and you can play in as many as you wish, but only your largest stack progresses to Day 2 should you make it through more than once.
Your $50 buy-in sees you receive 5,000 chips and play to a 10-minute clock where the blinds start at 25/50/6a. The aim is to make it through 20 levels with some chips remaining in front of you. If you do that, you return to the fray at 6:30 p.m. GMT on December 13 and play poker until only one person remains. That person gets to call themselves a WSOPC champion and wins a ring in addition to what should be a six-figure prize.
Don’t worry if the $50 buy-in is a little steep for you because GGPoker is running a plethora of $5 satellites feeding into each Day 1. Good luck!
What About Becoming the Irish Poker Masters Main Event Champion?
Day 1B of the Irish Poker Masters Main Event kicks off at 7:05 p.m. GMT on December 13 and it’s fair to say its structure is amazing. Late registration is only open for nine levels, you can only make one re-entry, and the 25-minute clock starts with blinds of 500/1,000/125a. Oh, and you sit down with 200,000 chips.
This tournament costs €1,100 to enter and has €1 million guaranteed. The prize pool should be much larger than that, however, because 671 players turned out for last Sunday’s Day 1A and final day’s tend to be significantly busier.
Like GGPoker’s WSOPC Big $50, there are plenty of satellites taking place for the Irish Poker Masters Main Event. The best value is the €109 buy-in Mega Satellite, which you can win your way into from a mere cent, which has 75x €1,100 seats guaranteed to be won. This shuffles up and deal at partypoker at 3:30 p.m. GMT on December 13.
Don’t Miss The Biggest $55
Find a seat, sit down, and hold onto your hats because what we’re about to say is going to blow you away. PokerStars is running a $2 million guaranteed tournament that only costs $55 to enter! That’s correct, $2 million!
The Biggest $55 is a phased tournament with dozens of $55 buy-in Phase 1s. Their lobby states “Play Phase 1 as many times as you like until you finish with chips in order to reach Phase 2”. That Phase 2 runs at 7:05 p.m. GMT on December 21. Winning it would be the perfect start to the Christmas festivities.
Each Phase 1 should only last around three hours so you can grind them to your heart’s content. They end after 16x 10-minute levels that start at 25/50/6a with your starting stack being 5,000 chips.

PokerStars ran a $1 million guaranteed edition in November that saw a $1,027,550 prize pool created. The top two finishers won six-figure prizes: runner-up “HenriquinAK” banked $105,938 with “FishOnHeater” netting the $150,011 top prize.
